Aniko DeLaney

Marketing Lecturer
Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business

Aniko DeLaney is a Clinical Marketing Lecturer in the Marketing Area at Fordham’s Gabelli School of Business. She was an Adjunct Professor at NYU Stern School of Business, NYU Tandon School of Engineering, CUNY Lehman College.

As a brand advisor to Oppenheimer & Co., Aniko worked with the CMO to develop and plan the rebranding strategy and campaign that launched in 2023.

Prior to this role, Aniko was head of Ultra High Net Worth Marketing for Bank of America’s Private Bank and Merrill’s Private Wealth Management businesses. She completed the rebrand of US Trust to Bank of America Private Bank.

From 2014-2019, Aniko served as CMO and Global Head of Corporate Marketing for BNY Mellon, with $34 trillion in assets under custody and administration, and $1.9 trillion in assets under management as of December 31, 2018. Aniko was responsible for BNY Mellon’s enterprise wide corporate brand strategy, digital marketing and market research. In that role, she transformed and drove double digit digital and social media engagement, rebranded the company from The Bank of New York Mellon to BNY Mellon, increased employee brand ambassadorship, amplified thought leadership and fostered lead generation. Prior to this role, Aniko was the Global Head of Marketing for six of BNY Mellon’s Investment Services businesses, including, Markets, Asset Servicing, Treasury Services, Corporate Trust, Alternative Investment and Broker-Dealer Services businesses. She developed and implemented marketing plans, thought leadership, advertising, digital and social media, targeted public relations, client events, conferences and sales support activities.

Aniko received a BA in French Language from Middlebury College and an MBA in Marketing and Finance from NYU Stern School of Business.

She is a Board Member of the International Advertising Association’s North America Chapter. She was the Vice Chair of Borough of Manhattan Community College’s Foundation Board from 2013 – 2023.
